What a gift that we both loved photography before we even met! We are artists, and with our cameras we hope to convey the goodness of God, even (especially!) in the midst of the imperfections of life. Behind a camera, we experience the world with child-like wonder. It is our hope that the people we photograph experience this same freedom and joy. Throughout our work you’ll find light and shadows, vibrant color, and emotion. You’ll experience an emphasis on reverence both in the Catholic Mass as well as towards the human person. You’ll find intentional imperfections, movement, and joy. Film photographer Ansel Adams and the Traditional Latin Mass are two of our biggest inspirations. Beauty is the lens through which we see the world. Thank you for letting us share that beauty with you!

Capturing each other on film is one of our favorite hobbies

"We are artists, because God is"

I experience God through the sunset, newborn babes, wildflowers, & Eucharistic Adoration. But I experience Him in a unique way through photography. For me, photography has always been about wonder and awe at the majesty of God and His creation. Thrifting is my biggest weakness, and C.S. Lewis’ Till We Have Faces is my favorite book. Playing Reverie by Claude Debussy on the piano provides instant stress relief. I'm conversational in Spanish but need more opportunities to practice! I'm originally from Kansas, & the understated beauty of the Great Plains will always have my heart. I love to travel and have visited 10 countries in the last 10 years! I handle client communication, timeline planning, and directing groups & poses on wedding days. I've been photographing weddings since 2015, but my love for photography goes all the way back to age 8.

Kathryn

Living on at least 3 cups of coffee a day, George says he is an artist trapped in an engineer's body. A self-proclaimed romantic, George is a renaissance man who is especially drawn to the nostalgia, history and mechanics of photography. He appreciates film as a way to connect with our heritage and to preserve memories for generations to come. He's had the wedding photos of all his great-grandparents displayed in his home for years. His favorite composer is Mozart, he has definite aesthetic preferences on the way we style our home, and his favorite summer activities include riding his Triumph motorcycle and grilling the best meat you'll ever taste. George, a mechanical engineer during the week, is more introverted & has an eye for the in-between moments, artful angles, and little details that would otherwise get overlooked. He also maintains our gear & keeps us hydrated & organized throughout the wedding day!

Our love story...

We met in 2021 at a local coffee shop...Kathryn was the friendly new-in-town barista trying to meet more people, and George was the quiet regular customer who'd frequented the shop for a decade. After seeing each other at the Latin Mass and discovering a mutual interest in photography, we eventually began dating in 2022 and were married September 2, 2023. We now live in a cutie 1920 four square home that we're completely renovating to its original glory. Our home is full of vintage, heirloom and thrifted treasures...oh, and lots of plants! We just welcomed our first baby, Franklin, in October 2024 and already have a camera dedicated to teaching him this art we both love.
